Management Accountant

My client, a global, market leading manufacturing business in the Skelmersdale area is looking to recruit a qualified Management Accountant to strengthen their accounts function.

Reporting to the Global Reporting Manager, the Reporting Accountant / Management Accountant will provide support to the local management teams and site managers with the provision of monthly and quarterly results, budgets and forecasts.

The Reporting Accountant will lead the management and production of consolidated monthly results, circulating the Financial Reporting Pack to regional business units and group.

You will play a key part in maintaining contact and developing relationships with Site Manages, budget holders, reviewing and understanding key performance drivers.  Responsible for initiating change and improving existing processes, actively supporting the budget and forecast processes and providing additional insightful information as and when required by local business units or by group.

The ideal candidate will be an ambitious, inquisitive Qualified Accountant who is comfortable manipulating and interpreting large amounts of data.  Due to the nature of this role and interaction with finance and non-finance senior management teams, excellent communication and excel skills are essential.
