The aim of the role is to drive short, medium and long-term planning, partner across Sales, Manufacturing and Corporate, and to align business capabilities with the Executive team and business group.

Detailed Job Description
Role description and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the annual planning and budgeting processes. This will include establishing assumptions, spreadsheet modelling, consolidation, analysis and presentation to key stakeholders in the local business and Headquarters
  • Leading a team of Finance professionals, ensuring responsibility for their ongoing development
  • Business partnering with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Preparing analysis and undertaking projects aimed at improving business performance in collaboration with business
  • Supporting business development-driven business development initiatives from the Sales side
  • Responsibility for setting and monitoring the financial performance of each department within the business, in line with their set budgets
  • Implementing and maintaining all financial controls and systems within the business, identifying potential operational risks, driving improvements
  • Reviewing the effectiveness of internal controls covering financial, operational and compliance matters
  • Reviewing costs structures, including presenting and implementing any recommended improvements

Candidate's Profile

  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of;
  • Successfully managing a team
  • Strong communication and collaboration, with both finance and non-finance stakeholders, effectively and articulately - both inside and outside of the organisation
  • As well as financial acumen, a strong interest in sales and operational processes
  • Preparing, analysing and implementing accounting, reporting and planning requirements
  • Managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines under pressure
  •  A high level of proficiency in effectively communicating at all levels
  •  Sound knowledge of MS-Office products and Hyperion would be an advantage
