What will you be doing?
- Own and administer KPI reporting to Sales, Ecommerce & Distribution Channel teams, developing insights to deliver improvements to process.
- Deliver end-to-end management information reporting systems to improve consistency and ease of use for internal customers.
- Become a centre of knowledge for all top-line revenue and distribution database modules advising operational areas on project activity and return.
- To proactively understand and highlight trading trends in distribution and revenue management driving data-based decisions and best practises.
- Maintain consistency of information dispersed throughout the business working closely with other analytics & operational teams.
- Centralise and administrate the yearly KPI setting and tracking for the Sales & Distribution teams.
- Design improvements existing sales reporting modules (VBA) and develop pipeline process for new KPI documents
- Where possible, continue to pursue adaptions of 'best choice' information systems for management reporting across hotel services
- Deliver content and dashboards for all top line and BRM partner meetings with high level commentary on trends and issues
- Oversee strategic progress of UK&I account management teams through Salesforce CRM dashboards and KPI reporting
- Own and deliver with VP Sales the UK&I Global Sales & Ecommerce budgeting module
- Develop and share knowledge of industry leading software which could enrich existing information databases and improve analytical efficiency
- Market analysis, macro-economic impact modelling and distribution trend consultation for VP's & UK executive board for development of company strategy
- Working with key stakeholders within Revenue Management, Ecommerce and Sales deliver a robust and executive trading dashboards
- Take accountability to highlight and drive through changes agreeing remedial action at departmental level to address under performing KPIs
- Develop framework of analyses highlight to VP Revenue Management and VP Sales any trading issues that are impacting both on a book ad stay date for UK hotels
- Create a trading dashboard for all top line and BRM meetings that provides and executive summary highlighting trading performance on an exception basis
- Developing feasibility studies and cost saving initiatives to grow profitability of operational business units
- Assist VP Sales & VP Revenue Management in the delivery of strategic projects to local stakeholders
- Perform regular and random check controls concerning the quality of the data in ASA, TARS, EzRMS and ANAIS
- Linkages - Structure analysis and, timely fashion ensuring accuracy
- Develop ongoing relationships with central database teams to ensure ongoing visibility and control of UK data
- Administrate the access and privileges for COGNOS, TARS, EzRMS and other top-line databases.
- Assist account management team with niche requests from clients or additional information as required
- Own any data discrepancy issues and escalate to appropriate local and global owner as appropriate
- Work with hotel partners to develop speedy and efficient ways to manage data handover if appropriate
- Oversee the implementation of all new reports and practices acting as project manager and lead as appropriate across UK Sales Office and Hotels.
You will need the following to be successfully selected for the role:
- Exposure to the following software will be helpful: EzRMS, TARS, Salesforce, IBM Cognos
- Advanced MS Excel (Necessary), Intermediate - Advanced VBA (Ideal)
- Hotel operations useful though not necessary
- Strong commercial and financial awareness
- Awareness of economic, market and consumer trends
- Significant exposure to Senior Management roles with appropriate experience of strategic thinking and managing multi-skilled/multi- stakeholders
- A solid academic background and strong business experience in Strategy formation and implementation but balanced with operational effectiveness
- Exceptional drive for change, constantly looking at "what could be"
- Excellent communicator and influencer, including strong negotiating skills and vision
- Confident and comfortable operating at all levels - strong influencing skills from middle managers to customer facing staff
- Strong financial analysis skills with proven experience in analytical strengths in managing high volume, high complex management information data

What are we looking for?
- 2-5 years' experience in a similar role or in a past position.
- Bachelor's degree within Economics, computer science or business management and/or relevant
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (Necessary), Intermediate - Advanced VBA (Ideal)
- Strong commercial and financial awareness as well as awareness of economic, market and consumer trends
- Significant exposure to Senior Management roles with experience in strategic thinking and managing multi-skilled/multi- stakeholders
