Description
Work with the Marketing Director and teams to ensure that business performance is clear and the drivers of performance are understood (including base/promotion trends, brand/customer/channel profitability and external competitor influences)
Develop standard decision support tools that facilitate consistent, insightful evaluation and actionable analysis
Develop financial analysis that challenges & evaluates all marketing investment decisions including new product development
Contribute to brand strategy development including price/promotional strategies
Provide leadership to Brand teams through all planning processes including forecast, budget and strategic planning
Proactively challenge the 'status quo' to improve how things work
Create and develop talent within team
Profile
Qualifications:
University or similar qualification: 5 years PQE (minimum) in CIMA, ACA or ACCA
2:1 or better degree is required from Russell Group Univ.
Strong academic background, Strong A levels and 1st time accountancy passes
5 years PQE (minimum) in CIMA, ACA or ACCA
Decision Support roles in FMCG
Experience applying investment evaluation techniques
Strong track record of providing robust and insightful financial analysis
Previous team management experience essential
