Senior Prudential Internal Audit Specialist

Marks Sattin is recruiting for a Senior Internal Auditor who has exposure or specialises in prudential risk. Working closely with the manages across the group, you will be responsible for engaging with the prudential authority/Bank of England/Financial Conduct Authority or other regulatory bodies, as appropriate.

Providing independent, third line assurance to the senior management, you will be entering into an environment where you will be technically challenged and have an opportunity to step through the team.

You will be responsible for:-

• Developing an effective audit planning methodology ensuring independent risk assessments.
• You will be working with the Senior Audit Manager and contribute to the delivery of the annual audit plan.
• Undertake special investigations\projects as required by senior management.
• To undertake the analysis of new audit methods and techniques, reporting findings as appropriate to internal stakeholders.

To be considered for the role you'll ideally have experience of delivering Prudential Risk audits and have worked in a business partnering capacity with the wider business. Ideally you will have a professional qualification to compliment your experience, however this is not a prerequisite and if you are interested in further study, this can be supported in the role.
