Management Accountant

Management Accountant - £35,000 - £40,000 - Bristol - Engineering

Element Recruitment are partnering with a leading Bristol based engineering client to recruit a Management Accountant. This opportunity is going to be highly involved in monthly decision making within the business unit and will interface with a multitude of internal/external stakeholders.

The role

As a Management Accountant your responsibilities will include however will not be limited to;

• Preparation of management accounts for the business unit
• Monthly variance analysis
• Responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations
• Monthly reporting, forecasting & budgeting for Procurement cost centres.
• Regular partnering with Business Partnering Team to ensure accurate communication of financial information
• Period performance/profitability analysis of on-going projects
• Any other ad-hoc tasks as required by the FD/FC

The Profile

• Ideally qualified (ACA,CIMA, ACCA, ACMA,) or equivalent experience
• Strong interpersonally with an ability to engage with finance/non-finance staff
• Great communication skills – ability to engage with a large variety of stakeholders
• Ideally 1-3 years experience within a similar position
