Our client, based in Bedfordshire, are looking to recruit a commercially aware accountant to join its team on a 12 month contract basis.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll be responsible for:
- To take day to day responsibility for all aspects of accounting, including monitoring margins and ensuring sales have been correctly accounted for.
- Ensure that all results are reconciled to the accounting system on a monthly basis to strict deadlines
- To model the impact of potential pricing amendments
- To establish a good commercial relationships with suppliers and operations
- Compilation of quarterly VAT returns
You are ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with strong analytical and Excel skills and have previous business partnering experience
