Management Accountant

Macildowie are supporting an SME in Nottinghamshire to recruit a Company Accountant into their team on a temporary basis . Reporting to the Financial Controller.

The company are real innovators in their industry and this year (there 10th year) they have gone from strength to strength.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Production of budgets and forecasts with analysis into variances
-Production of monthly management accounts with analysis and commentary
-Oversee the purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control
-Authorise company purchases and leasing agreements
-Oversee banking and cashflow management
-Responsibility for the long-term strategic direction of the business
-Work closely with the Board to suggest which business activities to engage in
-Support the sales teams to define pricing levels for tenders and bids
-Manage relationships with external bodies (banks, auditors etc)
-Suggest methods for process improvement to drive business performance

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

-CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified (QBE also considered)
-Proven experience of producing monthly management accounts for an SME
-Excellent commercial acumen
-Confidence to present financial information to board level
-Staff management experience desirable
