Financial Accountant

A travel company based near Uxbridge require a hands-on, qualified accountant for a 4 month role.

Your new role
Responsible for Intercompany (IC) recharges and reconciliations
Send supporting IC documents to Geneva
Ensure all IC legal claims and flights are recharged to parent company
Responsible for month end close, quarter end and assisting with year end
Responsible for Accruals and prepayments
Balance sheet reconciliations
Various accounts reconciliations
Uploading month end and quarter end on to Tagetik
Month end analysis and producing reports for the management team
Assist Head Of Finance with new procedures
VAT returns
Cash flow forecasting
Ensuring the correct authorisation and payment of all UK supplier invoices.
Reconciling of vendor accounts against statements received, liaising with suppliers to investigate queries, complaints and payment issues
Ensure that invoices are paid in accordance to payment terms Issuing customer service payments
Checking, gaining authorisation and issuing payment for expense claims
Reconcile and post Corporate Credit-/Debit Card transactions
Lead various projects and developing new policies
Building of new reports in line with management requirements
Assist Head Of Finance with internal, external queries and various analysis

What you'll need to succeed
Full working proficiency in English. Degree level of education or higher
Professionally qualified
Experience with international groups
An understanding and appreciation of complex financing arrangements
Experience with Navision
