Assistant Accountant

As a market leader within the Pfi and PPP sector, this high-growth long term developer, investor and operator of public sector infrastructure assets supports a broad range of projects encompassing Property, Construction, Infrastructure and Waste Recycling. Continued and successful expansion through winning bids, financial close and new projects has led to internal promotion and created an opportunity for a part-qualified Assistant Accountant supporting the Projects Finance team. Your brief includes:

•Preparation & posting of monthly accounting journals, balance sheet reconciliations & running trial balance for key business entities
•Preparation of management & financial input data for group reporting
•Preparation of year end statutory accounts
•Bank reconciliations
•Raising sales invoices for project billing
•Preparation of prepayments & accrual schedules
•Assisting with VAT returns

As a junior part-qualified accountant with a thorough understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and experience of financial and management reporting, you will demonstrate an eye for detail, the ability to work on your own initiative and a professional attitude.
