Blackwaters is recruiting a new role on behalf of a global Biotech manufacturer in Slough. The role will support a £350m p&L globally across 6 locations.

Reporting to the Divisional Finance Director, this role will support the business with financial planning, analysis and decision support, as well as compliance and reporting for the BU  This role is pivotal in helping the group to understand the growth opportunities that may exist within the division.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Shares global responsibility for BU/SUB BU financial and management accounting in accordance with IFRS, the Finance Accounting Manual and other required accounting principles
  • Coordinates and supports BU/SUB BU activities among other Finance and Controlling Teams at production sites around the world
  • Manages all relevant planning and analysis processes such as long term planning, annual budget, outlooks and forecasts, business modelling, monthly closing reporting, variance and analysis reporting, contribution reporting and others
  • Analyses business performance, recommends benchmarks, and highlights the key areas of interest for improvement or monitoring
  • Partners effectively with other function and provides analysis and decision support in the areas of pricing, commercial deal terms, supply contracts, project evaluations, capital investments
  • Supports creation of capital expenditure evaluations and submissions
  • Supports due diligences and business integration
