The position
To support all aspects of the IRCP Finance function, including maintaining accurate and up to date ledgers and delivering high quality financial reporting to the IRCP business.

Management accounting
- Assisting the accounts payable function to ensure all expenses are paid in a timely manner – using V1 to record all invoices and setting up payments.
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly bank journals and reconciling all bank balances on a monthly basis.
- Maintaining monthly balance sheet reconciliations (e.g. creditors, debtors, intercompany etc.)
- Maintaining fixed assets schedule and monthly depreciation.
- Income and expense accruals.
- Maintaining various schedules such as the invoices log, the prepayment schedule, debtors and intercompany schedule, headcount, etc.
- Preparing payroll journal and setting up inter-account transfers.
- Producing various costs analysis (e.g. travel, entertainment, professional fees etc.)
- Monthly costs allocation within the business.
- Processing travel agent invoices.
- Raising and processing quarterly expense recharge invoices to various funds with sufficient backup and agreeing this with the fund finance teams.
- Liaising with overseas accountants to reconcile inter-co balances and issuing recharge invoices.
- Cash management – ensure all bank accounts are sufficiently funded at all times. Drawing down from liquidity funds as and when necessary.
- Oversee the opening of new bank accounts, ensuring they are compliant with our policies and liaising with HSBC bank to ensure this is done effectively.
- Assisting the annual PSA preparation.
- Assisting the year end and statutory reporting process.
- Providing back up support to the Finance Administrator when needed.
We expect the ideal candidate to have the following attributes:
- Technical accounting training essential – part qualified in ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel.
- Knowledge of SUN GL or equivalent.
- Organised, able to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills / flexible ‘can do’ approach.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
