Head of Finance Operations

A leading, rapidly growing, private-equity backed services business has an exciting opportunity for an individual to join them at their HQ in Central London as a Head of Finance Shared Services, with the aim of creating a best in class finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and improving current processes to increase output and quality of data from existing resources
• Ensure that the all transactional accounting is accurate and timely
• Ensure that payroll is run efficiently
• Manage and develop the shared service centre team of 20+ individuals
• Drive the month end closure in conjunction with the Financial Controller and ensure timely, accurate and complete results reporting
• Preparation of reporting for key internal stakeholders

Candidate Profile:

• Degree educated and qualified accountant with ACA/CIMA/ACCA at least 5 years post qualification experience
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Previous experience managing an SSC
• Demonstrable track record of working with senior management to build high performing teams
