Description

Management Accountant tasks will include:

* Responsible for preparing monthly management accounts / board pack according to the agreed timetable
* Responsible for managing budgeting, rolling forecasts and strategic plans
* Present analyses on the deviations between final statement and budget for each area with variance analysis and commentary
* Experience in meeting deadlines
* Provide support and pro-active input with regards to reporting and controls in the implementation of a new system
* Experience of providing commercial analysis
* Support the Finance and Commercial directors in providing profitability analysis on new business projects, possible ventures and new distribution channels
* Liaise with all relevant personnel to ensure the commercial and financial information is accurate

Profile

As a Management Accountant the ideal candidate would have:
* A background in Retail is desirable
* Excellent written and interpersonal skills
* Experience in with advanced Excel, Word and Power Point skills
* Excellent numeracy skills combined with an enquiring and analytical mind
* Ability to discuss financial issues with both fellow professionals and those with little or no financial background
* Self-motivation and excellent time and project management skills
