Immediate Start for Senior Commercial Accountant position. My client is an SME Hospitality and Property Company based in Central London.
Client Details
My client is an SME Property and Hospitality company based in the heart of Central London. They are looking for somebody who has a strong business acumen and wants to get involved in commercial activities within the company as well as finance duties.
Description
Responsibilities in this role will include but not be limited to:
- In charge of preparing monthly management accounts for 3 hotels and 1 management company on Sage and all associated nominal ledger tasks
- Prepare quarterly management accounts for a number of property companies, most holding single assets and all associated nominal ledger tasks
- Manage the debtors ledger for all companies specifically the hotels
- Prepare and submit VAT for all the above companies
- Management and responsibility of all bank accounts
- Managing purchase ledger payments
- Ensuring full integrity of all the financial information produced
- Preparing KPI reports for monthly management meetings - Variance Analysis and Commentaries to report to back to Management
- To ensure that all routine processing and reporting are completed in an accurate manner to satisfy strict monthly deadlines.
- To provide information and analyses to management for decision making and reporting.
- Any reasonable ad-hoc or routine request.
- Supervise 3rd payroll production for the group
- Manage production of monthly and quarterly rental invoices
- Liaise with auditors for the annual audit process
Additional Duties
- Employment & HR compliance for the whole group
- Management of IT for the group
- Negotiation of Utility & Supplier contracts
- Dealing with Offshore companies and Trustees
- Ad hoc projects as determined by the directors of the company
Profile
Person Specification
- Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA Accountant
- Experience in a Hospitality / Property is beneficial but not a must
- Sage Line 50 experience essential
- Willing to get involved on the commercial side of the business as well especially implement change where required
