Finance Officer

My client, a large Academy in Central London is looking to recruit a Finance Officer to assist with day to day finance function. 

The main purpose of the role will be to provide strong financial administration support to the management team including forecasting, budgeting and ongoing reporting of financial data.

Your duties will include the following

• To ensure smooth running of the finance office
• To work with the Finance Assistant in the recording, controlling and administration of financial data
• To cover for the Finance Assistant in their absence.
• To support the MAT Accountant.

Key Skills Required 

• Educated to A level or equivalent
• GCSE Maths & English, Grade A – C
• Qualified AAT
• Experience of SAGE or similar accounting software
• Experience of working in an Academy / School
• Commitment to accuracy and attention to details
• Excellent interpersonal skis and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to plan, balance and cope with competing priorities
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good standard of IT Skills including experience of using MS Office
