The Company
Our client is a market leading FTSE 100 Plc and due to their continued success they are looking for a qualified Group Financial Accountant to deliver a group accounting service.
The Role
You will be a key member of the finance team overseeing statutory accounts and reporting. Key duties will include:
· Ensuring preparation and review of statutory accounts ensuring compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP
· Financial reporting and communication with the wider finance teams to understand the impacts of business developments on financial reporting
· Accounting for other areas including pensions, share based payments and financial instruments.
· Yearend financial accounting and liaison with external auditors.
The Person
You will be a qualified ACA/ACCA/ACMA with proven skills in financial accounting and reporting and a sound understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP. The role would suit a first time mover from practice with experience of supervising in audit. Alternatively you may already be in industry looking for a new role. This is an excellent opportunity to work for an established and growing Plc.
