Robertson Bell Finance are currently recruiting for a Head of Strategic Finance. Our client is a dynamic, multinational, commercially focused organisation based in Bedfordshire who are undergoing an exciting period of growth and change. This opportunity is for an initial 6 month interim contract with the potential for extension. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this business-critical role will provide much needed support to one of the operational directors whilst providing both strategic and operational support to drive financial insight and transparency throughout the organisations product group. Specifically, this role will:
*Lead on the development, implementation and ongoing updating of relevant cost and pricing models across all organisation products.
*Work across the organisation to implement a central product catalogue which contains fixed price points.
*Design and implement a new product development financial processes and develop a 3-5-year product roadmap and product investment strategy.
*Provide support to the organisation on all financial matters related to the products and be a key member of the strategic finance team.
*Provide expert financial insight & review to explain or improve both short term and longer term strategic objectives.
The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 5 years' post qualification experience that has a can-do attitude and can hit the ground running. You will have previous experience operating in a commercial environment and have a sound understanding of Product Lifestyle Costing, the principles of Target Pricing, new product development and Activity Based Costing. A huge emphasis within this role is with stakeholder management and the ability to build relationships therefore you must be able to communicate in a warm, approaching but often challenging manor.
