Junior Business Analyst

An amazing role has become available to join a prestigious Events company as a Junior Business Analyst. The position reports to the Finance Manager, with consistent liaising with other departments.

Working well under pressure is expected with the ability to solve complex problems. Aside from your main duties, developing and maintaining good relationships with stakeholders would be part of your routine therefore impeccable communication skills is a prerequisite.

The company is seeking an ambitious individual with a strong analytical mind where manipulating data, financial modelling and creating databases would be your forte.

For the right candidate the role also offers a study package if desired. This is an ideal position for somebody who has gained relevant experience for at least a year.

Joining a sociable and outgoing team, the role includes:

• Maintain and develop a comprehensive range of Excel models to compliment the business
• Perform regular pricing and margin analysis
• Weekly and monthly management reporting
• Implement and maintain internal reporting
• Provide assistance to other areas of finance across the portfolio of locations/clients
• Supporting management with month end reports

The ideal candidate:

• Educated to degree calibre would be a distinct advantage
• Possesses strong Excel skills and the knack for handling/manipulating large amounts of data
• Previous experience in a placement or similar role is essential
• A self-starter, with the ability to multi-task; independently or part of a team
• High attention to detail
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal and influential skills
