Market leading service organisation is looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to join them on a 12 month contract. The Commercial Finance Manager will work closely with the Finance Director and their senior team to drive financial performance and add value by providing financial and commercial insight and challenge, and helping effective prioritisation and decision-making. The Commercial Finance Manager will inform business leaders and their decision-making through commercial understanding of the relevant business area, with emphasis on key drivers of revenue, cost optimisation, understanding contractual commercial terms and business process improvement.
This is a hands-on, business facing role and the Commercial Finance Managerwill be responsible for:
- Pricing and support for new business tenders and contract renewal activity
- Ongoing contract profitability analysis
- Accurate performance reporting, budgeting and forecasting of trading, cash flow, capex and financial position against key objectives, risks and opportunities
- Driving meetings and action at a senior level within the Business
The successful candidate will be immediately available or available at short notice, ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified with post-qualification experience gained in similar roles in fast-paced, complex and highly commercial B2B environments. You must have strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including gravitas and credibility, to influence, negotiate and communicate at a senior level both within the business and externally with customers. A dynamic, hands-on approach with an eye for detail is essential along with strong financial modelling and analytical skills and demonstrate ability to assimilate information and make decisions quickly.
