Finance Assistant

A leading Central London based IT firm, are looking to add a Finance Assistant to their team. The job has arisen due to my client completing a recent acquisition. Candidates with accounting experience within the IT sector are extremely desirable. Ideally, you will be pursuing your AAT qualification. My client will provide study support.

The position will be reporting in to the Financial Controller. The role is incredibly progressive and you will have the opportunity to progress within a firm immersed in an incredibly fast paced and dynamic industry.

The duties include matching, batching and coding invoices, intercompany multicurrency bank reconciliations, processing expenses, reconciling supplier statements and VAT returns. There is a significant amount of Excel use in the role, so candidates should be comfortable with building pivot tables and v-look ups from scratch. Applicants should be pursuing their AAT qualification and study support will be provided. Candidates with previous finance experience are extremely desirable.
