A reputable Chartered Accountancy Firm based in Stockport are currently looking to appoint an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their Corporate Team. This accountancy firm have been established for over for over fifty years and provide high quality accounting, tax and advisory services to a range of businesses and individuals across Greater Manchester & Cheshire. This role has arisen due to one of the Corporate Team securing a secondment within the firm.

Your new role
As an audit and accounts senior you will take responsibility for running audits, working directly with clients on the planning, execution and finalisation of audit assignments across a range of industries as well as preparing year end statutory accounts. You will report into an Audit Manager and this role will be mainly client facing with work weighted 50% towards audit and 50% towards accounts.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are looking for an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant with over two years PQE who has worked within general practice and has gained exposure to leading both accounting and audit assignments. You will be a team player with good communication skills and the ability to help lead a team.
