Group Financial Controller

My client is a leading TV production & artist management company based in London. They produce high-quality, distinctive and innovative documentaries and dramas alongside managing celebrity musical artists and comedians.

Your new role
There is a great opportunity for a Group Financial Controller to join their experienced team and continue to improve best practice and ensure the finance function remains to be seen as a real value-ad function to the business.

The vacant position will be filled by a senior level appointment as there is a responsibility to voice real strategic input to ensure the function's operation are as slick as they can be, whilst being seen as the 'go-to' person for financial queries.

You will manage a team of 4 and work in both a supervisory and 'hands-on' manner. Your responsibility will be to oversee client reporting; producing reports, brand analysis, client projections and answering management queries as required. You will also maintain record of client deals across the group, ensuring division finance functions produce client reporting on a timely basis. In addition to this, group consolidations and monthly management accounts will also fall under your remit.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role will have trained in a practice obtained the ACA qualification. From there you would need to have spent 2 - 4 years in industry where you will have gained solid experience of producing monthly management reports and providing detailed analysis to senior stakeholders. Experience in the media industry would be advantageous.
