Group Accountant Job for successful Manufacturing Business.
Your new company
Hays Senior Finance are currently working with a successful manufacturing business located near in Wetherby. Due to continued success this business are recruiting for a Group Accountant to join the company in a newly created role.
Your new role
Within this role you will be assisting with the preparation on the final monthly management accounts. It could be that you are planning and preparing budgets and cash flow forecasts. You will be preparing accounts for the annual audit and overseeing the companies VAT returns.
In addition it could be that you are working on various projects and assisting with the development of the companies IT systems. You will be dealing with the banks, insurance and KPIs. You will be overseeing 4 sites and will have the responsibility for 4 accountancy staff members.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will need previous experience within a similar role. This role would suit a qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) or someone who is equally qualified by experience. Previous experience working within the manufacturing sector would be beneficial. A knowledge of Sage 50 would be advantageous. This role would suit a candidate with a hands on approach to their work. You must be able to communicate with staff at all levels.

In return you will be paid a competitive salary and benefits package. The company offers onsite parking. The working hours for this role are Monday - Thursday 8:00-17:00 and 8:00-13:00 on a Friday. You will get a matched pension scheme at 5%. The company offers a bonus scheme based on profitability.
