Manager

The Real Estate Tax team of a large Global Accounting & Advisory firm is urgently looking to hire several people at Manager level into their award winning division. The firm continue to win advisory work for large FTSE businesses and overseas multinationals with the majority of assignments focused on tax due diligence and structuring projects in addition to a small amount of compliance work. The position would suit someone from the corporate tax team of a large professional services firm with experience in Real Estate Tax helpful but not essential.

Key responsibilities:

* Providing tax structuring, tax due diligence and restructuring advice on a wide range of deals.
* Carrying out detailed technical research.
* Key point of contact for clients, advisory/transaction services colleagues internally and a vast array of external stakeholders.
* Involvement in business development and proposal activity.

Your background:

* Qualified CTA or ACA/CA or equivalent.
* A good knowledge of UK corporate tax and an awareness of other tax and accounting areas. M&A tax and/or international tax experience would be an advantage but is not a requirement.
* Strong interpersonal skills in addition to strong oral and written communication skills.
* High level analytical skills and a commercial approach to resolving issues and providing advice.
* Ability to work as part of a team in a transaction based environment, especially with colleagues in overseas offices.
* Ability to build client relationships.
