Financial Accountant - Middlesex - £50-60k

Wade Macdonald are partnering one of Europe's largest privately owned hosting providers, with the largest domain registrar in Europe. They are highly regarded and respected in their field. Due to organic growth they now require a Group Accountant to assist with group-wide budgeting, internal/external reporting, M&A, restructuring, financing and related activities. This is a varied and intellectually stimulating role, representing an excellent opportunity for a qualified, skilled, and commercially focused Accountant. The role will involve working closely with the Senior Finance Manager, Finance Director, and Finance teams from various business units. You will provide analysis and commentary to senior management to aid decision-making, and participate in group-wide projects. This role will enable the successful candidate to gain some great exposure to a dynamic, fast-paced business that can offer some brilliant career development opportunities going forward.

Key responsibilities:

*Provide financial support to the Senior Finance Manager, Finance Director, and CFO
*Assist in the production of accurate consolidated monthly/yearly reporting, budgeting and forecasting
*Assist with the group audit, preparation and filing of the statutory accounts
*Preparation of ad-hoc information to assist in commercial decision making/projects
*Assist in preparation of the monthly CFO Board Pack
*Assisting with Group consolidation on a monthly basis including intercompany reconciliations
*Administer the groups' loan portfolio and assist with queries from stakeholders
*Ensure compliance with group accounting policies, processes, and controls, and propose changes where applicable;

The successful candidate will have:

*Technically and commercially orientated qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) with Practice
*Extensive knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
*Strong Microsoft Office especially Excel (pivots and lookups)
*ERP experience, preferably Microsoft Dynamics A/X
*Previous experience in a similar role within a multi-entity/multi-currency business
*Prior responsibility for the accounting processes, and preparation of accounts both from a management and statutory perspective
*Great communication skills
*Attention to detail
*Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
*Be a fast learner, not afraid to be hands-on, challenge the status quo, and have a can-do attitude
*Strong academic record
*Audit background with subsequent commercial experience
*Exposure to corporate finance structures;
*Technology sector
