A Cheshire based accountancy firm that have been established for over thirty years are seeking an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their head office in Altrincham. The firm is one of the most modern firms in the area that provide a range of accounting and business services to clients based within the Cheshire & Lancashire regions.

Your new role
As an Audit & Accounts Senior you will be responsible for providing accountancy, audit and tax services to a range of clients and also supervising junior members of your team. Your role will be weighted 20% towards audit duties and 80% towards accounting duties and you will take responsibility for managing the portfolio of clients. This is an excellent job opportunity as there is scope to develop your role into a managerial role over the coming years.

What you'll need to succeed
The partners are looking to appoint an ACA / ACCA qualified audit and accounts senior who has worked within accountancy firm in their most recent role. Ideally you will have gained exposure of auditing however the firm will also consider accountants who have been responsible for preparing statutory accounts for clients over the audit threshold. Excellent communication skills are also imperative with this job move due to the client facing element of the role. Due to the succession plans within the firm there is excellent career progression available so the partners are looking to appoint ambitious qualified accountants who can demonstrate good leadership skills.
