A Top 50 Accountancy Firm which is one of the largest regional accountancy firms across the North West are seeking a soon to be or recently qualified audit and accounts senior to join their Corporate Services Team in their Preston office. The firm have over five offices across the North West and provide a full suite of general practice services to partnerships, sole traders and limited companies and groups.

Your new job
As an accounts and audit senior you will be responsible for undertaking the planning, fieldwork and completion of statutory audits, supervising audit teams, preparing statutory accounts and tax computations for a range of businesses and groups. You will be provided with autonomy in this role and take responsibility for the monitoring of your WIP and ensuring assignments are completed on time and within budget.


What you'll need to succeed
The firm are looking to appoint an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant who has worked within general practice undertaking both audit and accounting assignments. The firm will also consider individual who have studied towards their AAT qualification and are towards the end of their ACA / ACCA studies. The firm can offer good career progression and therefore the firm are looking to appoint ambitious individuals who are good communicators and are able to work autonomously.
