Assistant Compliance Manager

Break into Compliance – Accounts & Audit Experience Required

We are recruiting for a small & niche fund management firm, looking for an Assistant Compliance Manager to join their growing business. Duties will include;

• Maintain annual compliance plan
• Be responsible for day to day compliance activities
• Perform regular compliance monitoring to ensure adherence to compliance manual and best Practice
• Liaise with specialist compliance advisers
• Prepare non-financial FCA reporting and submissions.
• Assist financial controller in preparation and review of FCA periodic financial reporting
• Undertake other regulatory reporting worldwide (Canada, Luxembourg, US) and assist financial controller in US compliance activities.
• Assist preparation of annual financial statement including year end files and liaison with auditors as required
• Provide general support to FCA Compliance Officer and MLRO
• Assist finance department in other accounting tasks and deadlines as required

You should have external audit experience with a knowledge of accounting (Part or Fully Qualified AAT/ACA/ACCA/CIMA useful, although more important are good Excel skills) though no experience of Financial Services required.
