Commercial Property Accountant - £45k with a Construction business in Rotherham.


Your new company
I am working with a large construction business with a market leading presence going from strength to strength who are recruiting for a Commercial Property Accountant based in South Yorkshire.
This is an excellent company to grow and develop with and are looking to add a Commercial Property Accountant to join their finance team whilst working closely with the Financial Controller and Managing Director.

Your new role
You will join the finance team working with the Financial Controller and Managing Director as a Commercial Property Accountant with added elements of costings and project work also. Within the role you will be:

• Preparing monthly reports for the senior management
• Costings
• Assist in the production of business plans
• Variance against budgets
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Work closely with project team

Furthermore, you will be working with a variety of divisions and with the Project team in the control process to ensure timely and accurate reporting of project changes in the project financial reporting systems.

What you'll need to succeed
Qualified accountant with 1-2 years PQE coupled with an analytical approach with great attention to detail. Desirable to have transferable experience in commercial property, project accounting or project costing for long term projects. In order to be successful you will be competent in general management accounting covering Forecasting, Reporting, Variance Analysis, and Planning.

What you'll get in return
