Finance Manager (German Speaking)

German Speaking Finance Manager required for a newly created role within a dynamic, international business. The role will involve some travel to Germany and is a great opportunity for an experienced contractor.

Duties involve:

-Dealing with all local accounting (German GAAP), financial reporting (IFRS) and planning functions.

-Budget and forecast planning

-Ensuring effective controls are in place, accountability and accurate reporting

-Monthly closing and intercompany reconciliation process

-Supporting Business with accurate and timely financial information

-Review and optimize internal workflows and manage/develop the internal control system

-Pro-actively supporting the business in the decision making process

-Management of the financial risk

-Responsible for VAT and Tax returns

-Managing AP team - direct and remote reports

-Dealing with Auditors and completion of Statutory Accounts

Applicants will need to be Fully Qualified ACCA, CIMA or equivalent. Experience of German GAAP, IFRS, VAT, Corporation Tax and Statutory filings is essential. Knowledge of ERP and HFM/Hyperion Reporting along with advanced excel is advantageous. Fluent English and German is essential.
