My market leading client within the engineering and manufacturing sector is looking for a Divisional Financial Director to drive the UK operations
Reporting into the Managing Director you will oversee the UK Finance Function and play a key role ensuring future planning and profitability are maximised whilst keeping financial risk to a minimum and maintaining and improving Financial control.
Whilst overseeing a sizeable finance function through your two direct reports you will be responsible for a number of ongoing and new projects, long term financial planning, administrative matters and all financial and management reporting for the facility.
Accountabilities include: risk management, short term and 5-year planning, maintaining accuracy of Financial and Management reporting, managing internal and external stake holder relationships, management of the budgeting cycle, cost control, acting as Audit lead and managing working capital.
This role demands a natural leader of finance with exposure to working within a regulated/controlled environment with the ability to knit relationships together across the functions you would expect to find within a fast paced and challenging manufacturing environment.
You will be a qualified Accountant, ACA, ACCA or CIMA with a number of years post qualified experience with prior exposure as a Financial Director or Head of department.
