Your new firm
A modern firm of accountants, based in Manchester City Centre are looking to appoint an chartered / certified Audit & Accounts Manager to join their growing team. This two partner practice have modern open plan offices and employ around fifty staff across the firm.

Your new role
As a chartered / certified manager you will be responsible for a portfolio of limited companies and small and medium size businesses. You will be responsible for scheduling the workload and overseeing all audit and accounts assignments within your portfolio ensuring that all assignments are completed within the relevant timescales and to a high standard. The majority of your clients are sited within the Greater Manchester area however a handful are based in London. This is an all encompassing managerial role and you will have both staff and portfolio management duties.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are looking to appoint a chartered / certified accountant who can demonstrate some previous managerial responsibilities. They will consider both experienced managers and also recently qualified accountants who are looking to take the next step in their career and progress to manager. Whilst audit is only 50% of this role you must have prior experience of leading on audit assignments as your portfolio will contain the majority of the firms audit clients. You must be a strong communicator and be able to develop good relationships with both your staff, peers and clients.
