A thriving privately owned business in Nottinghamshire is looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to a growing finance team. With a stellar reputation regionally and nationally this is an excellent opportunity for a part qualified accountant to develop and progress whilst they continue their qualifications.

Your new role
Your key responsibilities will include;

• Provide financial support to the business through daily/ weekly/ monthly reports
• Revenue Reports.
• Departmental P&Ls.
• Customer Profitability.
• Maintain Financial Forecast.
• Business Planning
• To assist in the preparation of the monthly management accounts
• Preparation and posting of journals for revenue and expenditure
• Reconcile Balance Sheet control accounts.

What you'll need to succeed

• Studying towards professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with management accounting experience
• Be an excellent communicator
• Strong analytical skills
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills
• Thrive in a busy environment
• Take ownership of tasks and issues through to resolution
