The department is responsible for delivering all internal and external financial reporting under UK GAAP, budgeting, financial MI, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, IBA, treasury management, investment accounting and financial systems development.
Responsibilities
- Reconciling statements and incoming and outgoing cash received from Underwriters.
- Liaising on a regular basis with various technical and broking.
- Assisting in ensuring compliance with FCA Guidelines and rules, including maintaining accurate records.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly UK GAAP management.
- Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts.
- Assist with IBA Accounting

Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
- Working knowledge of accounting theory and practice.
- Began studying towards a professional Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Proven track record of working in a finance function of an insurance operation, preferably Broking.
