The purpose of the role is to increase the accuracy and effectiveness of the companies internal controls. You will provide management with a comprehensive risk management process to ensure that risks are identified and evaluate existing internal controls.
The ideal candidate will be up to date with current audit regulations and legislation to be able to elicit information from internal and external sources to evaluate and analyse information.

Description
The role is to carry out Independent evaluations and appraisals of the effectiveness of policies, rules and procedures of the company. You will provide management with a comprehensive view of the risk management process, advising and mitigating against the likelihood of identified risks occurring.
You will be up to date with current standards, legislation and regulations in order to best support the business, whilst keeping up to date with new and emerging methodology and terminology.
You will work with the wider business to to eradicate fraud and unethical behaviour and promote awareness of risk and governance within the business.
This person will need to effectively build relationships with internal and external staff, confront problems and issues within the business and effectively improve the plans of the business.
Profile
You will be a degree educated, ACA or CIMA qualified accountant with a minimum of 2 years Internal Audit.
The ideal candidate will work with integrity, clarity and accuracy to be able to consistently support the business.
You will have excellent verbal and written communications skills, able to build and maintain interpersonal relationships handling problems with tact and diplomacy.
You will be able to travel between 30-50%.
