Finance Manager

My client, a leading Manufacturer and Distribution company based just outside of the City Centre, is looking for a Finance Manager to join their Senior Management Team and lead and oversee a large finance team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will cover all aspects of accounts including the training and development of all members of the team to enable the department to run efficiently and effectively.

Main Duties:
·Ensuring the accuracy of the management accounts by putting in place relevant procedures and training staff where necessary
·Verifying full reconciliations of all balance sheet/profit & loss items are completed as part of the month end process
·Main contact and liaison with bank following recent move
·Introducing useful P&L analysis and comparing versus prior periods and budget
·Assist with External Audits and year end reporting
·Making improvements to current processes, constantly seeking efficiencies.
·Identification of any system errors and implementation of procedures to prevent further issues.
