£45,000 - £47,000

Reading

The duties will include:

• Timely and accurate creation of the month end reporting process
• Provide an analytical review and explanation of monthly financial performance against budget for the relevant business areas, with focus on gross profit analysis
• Supervision of management accountant
• Prepare and co-ordinate 3 year financial plans and provide explanation of variances
• Prepare co-ordinate and review departmental budgets with business budget holders
• Consistently reviewing and developing systems and processes in order to improve information recording and flow, hence improving the financial constitution of the business
• To ensure that relevant financial control procedures exist and are updated for changes in the business requirements and/or and advise on best financial business practice
• Ensure compliance with SOX/IFRS requirements
• SAP and Hyperion experience would be an advantage

This is a fantastic role within a large multinational where you will have the opportunity to develop your career and progress. You will be a qualified accountant and have the relevant experience within an engineering environment as well as experience being a self starter.
