Axon Moore are working in partnership with one of the country’s leading FMCG organisations to hire a Site Financial Controller.
As a key member of the senior management team you will provide financial support to help the site in achieving its key objectives. You will work closely with site manufacturing, planning, procurement and operations teams to help ensure efficiency and drive margin / profit improvements.
As Financial Controller you will manage a small team and be responsible for the production of accurate site P&L’s, overhead management, balance sheet maintenance and capital expenditure proposals / review / monitoring.

Key accountabilities will include:
- Ensuring sufficient site financial controls are maintained
- Delivery of accurate weekly / monthly reporting and KPI’s
- Co-ordination of the annual budget and forecasting process
- Presentation of site financial results to division and group
- Provision of insightful MI to inform and influence the site leadership team
- Liaison with group central functions and shared service
Key skills / knowledge / qualifications required:
- Fully qualified ACA/ACCA or CIMA
- Food manufacturing experience greatly preferred, other fast-paced & high-volume manufacturing backgrounds will be considered
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to deliver value-adding reports which inform business decision making
- A strong track record of working as part of a site senior management team greatly preferred
