Tax & Treasury Accountant

Robert Half are exclusively recruiting a Tax & Treasury Accountant for a well known media production firm in Zone 1, Central London.

Sitting within the Financial Control team, this individual will report directly to the Tax & Treasury Manager and support all tax compliance and reporting deadlines, including:

• Preparation of direct and indirect tax returns and payments, including Corporation Tax, VAT and PSA
• Preparation of tax disclosures for the annual financial statements and any necessary accounting papers
• Assisting with the Senior Accounting Officer certification process
• Dealing with ad hoc queries from HMRC or from within the business in respect of direct, indirect and employment taxes
• Supporting the HR team on employment tax matters including benefits in kind and employment status

Treasury

• Support the Tax and Treasury Manager in preparing the monthly Treasury Risk Committee (TRC) report focused on market updates, monthly treasury activity, counter-party credit risk, investment strategy, and FX exposure and hedging strategies
• Assist with daily cash and investment management across bank accounts and money market funds
• Maintain cash balance, forward contract and interest schedules and perform month end treasury related processes
• Proactively liaise with the business to identify FX exposure, forecast dollar and euro cash flow

• You will be a newly qualified, ACA or ACCA Accountant with great exposure to tax and treasury.
• Ideally coming from a medium to large practice, you will be passionate about tax and all related matters.
• You should be a team player with a down to earth personality.

On offer is a base salary of between £40,000 - £50,000 + outstanding corporate benefits
