Robert Half Accounting and Finance are currently working with a leading academic institution based in the south west of England to recruit a Treasury accountant into their large finance team based in their modern office in Bristol

The Role

• Ensure the coordination of the statutory audit, year in year out, and resolve all possible queries
• Ensure the efficient management of company's bank accounts
• Maintain and manage all financial records, logs, spreadsheets, and registers
• Ensure the company's banking operations; seeing to it that all funds are appropriately banked ensuring efficiency and returns
• Manage monthly management reports in respect of xash and debtors transactions.
• Reconciling of bank statements against the GL.
• See to it that the financial position of the company is well calculated.
• Check and verify cash transactions; and also investigate and propose possible resolution for any discrepancies
• Take care of the cash management system of the company and their payment mechanism.

Your Profile

• A recognised treasury qualification.
• Ability to deliver to tight deadlines.
• Recent operational experience within a similar role.
• High level of analytical skills and IT skills (including advanced MS Excel).
