Senior Group Accountant

Our client is a market leader in their sector with an exceptional brand and a growing revenue stream. They are currently looking to a Financial Accountant who will be responsible for the delivery of the month end accounts production in line with IFRS9 standards, supporting the preparation of the statutory accounts, monthly journal reporting and other external reporting for shareholders etc as required.

The ideal candidate will be an ACA or ACCA qualified Accountant with in depth knowledge of accounting processes. We are looking for a high calibre candidate with excellent academic results and an existing track record as a proven performer in a successful business. Ideally you will have some experience in practice, possibly with a top 10 firm, developing the strong technical accounting skills you will need in this role. This would be a great opportunity for someone to make their first move from professional practice to industry into a team that has already supported several first time movers.

Additionally you will need to be well presented with excellent communication skills. The ability to work as part of a team and deliver work to Director level is essential.
