Accountable Recruitment is currently looking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to join one of the UK's largest charitable organisations at their Head Office in Liverpool. As No.2 in finance, this role reports directly in to the FD and is an important role within the business to oversee a small team and deputise for the FD where necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Support the Director of Finance and deputise where necessary
    • Be an active and influential member of the senior management team
    • Ownership of the organisational budget setting
    • Production of all performance information and reporting across the organisation, including reports for committees and the Board.
    • Hold budget holders to account in the delivery of performance to targets / budgets supporting the production of corrective action plans where appropriate.
    • Manage the production of ad hoc financial information in the support of decision making across the organisation.
    • Work in partnership with budget holders to maintain an accurate forecast position
    • Present reports to the Board (as requested), Committees and Management to monitor all performance.

Essential experience:

  • ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified
  • At least 5 years as a Finance Manager in a complex organisation
  • Strong budgeting experience
  • Experience of producing statutory accounts

Salary is to £55,000 plus very generous holiday entitlement and other benefits.
