An expanding manufacturing business in Hull is seeking a qualified accountant. Salary to £38,000 per annum.
Your new company
Working for a manufacturing business in Hull which has been established for over 70 years. The business has sites in the UK and mainland Europe and is part of a large global business head quartered overseas. The Site Accountant job is newly created due to company expansion.
Your new role
Reporting to the Site Finance Manager, duties will include preparing monthly management accounts, financial accounts, reporting to the overseas parent company, preparing UK and overseas tax returns and EC Sales list, project analysis, forecasting, variance analysis, dealing with external auditors, and managing two staff.
The company works 37 hours per week, finishing at 1.30pm on Friday.
What you will need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant with experience of the manufacturing industry.You will have good excel skills and will have experience of managing a small team in the past. Multi-currency experience would be useful.
