Commercial Finance Manager

Are you a strong Commercial Finance Manager looking to work in an autonomous divisional role for a major retail business?

We are looking for a Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with 4+ years PQE and experience managing a team.

It's essential you bring a progressive blue-chip CV with experience commercially adding value in a senior FP&A role.

Gravitas and strong communication skills are a must in this pivotal role, as this is a key business partner with the organisation. Challenging key senior stakeholders to improve future performance, by producing supporting KPI's and performance analysis to drive a better understanding of results achieved.

You will also play a key role in developing relations with external partners, challenging financials and commercial decisions. Very much driving improved performance analysis and reporting, planning (short term forecasts and 5-year strategy plans), accounting and pre/post store opening appraisal.

This role will manage and coach a team and you will be required to deputise for the Finance Director in their absence.

Key Responsibilities

• Finance business partner challenge stakeholders to improve future performance.
• Leading a team, coaching and development of wider team.
• Develop an understanding of business processes to help simplify and drive consistency across the group.
• Develop Pan-European management information to highlight by exception the corporate performance compared to the plan.
