public sector infrastructure assets supports a broad range of projects encompassing Property, Construction, Infrastructure & Waste Recycling. Continued & successful expansion through winning bids, financial close & new projects has created a new opportunity for a qualified accountant to undertake a Management Accountant role within the Projects Finance team. Your brief includes:

•Supporting preparation of monthly management accounts including P&L, Cashflow, Balance Sheet & variance analysis
•Assisting with preparation of annual budgets, year-end audit files & statutory accounts
•Assisting with month end processes, posting journals & finalising monthly trial balances
•Preparation of monthly & quarterly VAT returns, ensuring local compliance & understanding of regulation
•Preparation of counterparty invoices & ensuring payment in line with project agreements
•Raising supplier payments & ensuring loan/interest repayments are made
•Bank account management, cashflow monitoring & cash balance control
•Development of strong understanding of financial models & key project documents
•Building robust relationships with key stakeholders including client, sub-contractors & Project Directors

As a graduate qualified accountant with a strong academic track record, you will be seeking to develop your existing technical accounting expertise within a commercial business environment. The role demands strong technical accounting and reporting skills, the ability to balance a number of projects simultaneously and the gravitas to build robust relationships with key stakeholders. A professional attitude, self-motivated approach and excellent interpersonal skills are prerequisite.
