Temporary Accounts Assistant role for a technology start up based near the City of London


I am currently recruiting a new temporary Accounts Assistant role working for 6 weeks to start either asap or in the New Year. The successful candidate would be eligible to apply for the permanent role but they need a temp in asap.


Due to the growth of the business they are recruiting an Accounts Assistant reporting to the Financial Controller you’ll provide essential support to the Finance team.

You’ll be responsible for tasks ranging from general ledger transaction processing, bank reconciliation, credit card statements and assist with Management Accounts.

You will to be involved in a variety of different projects and tasks to ensure you can gain experience quickly and expand your Finance knowledge.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate in a finance related field and possess a good understanding of VAT and accounting principals; excellent excel skills; great attention to detail; familiarity with Xero would be advantageous; and previous experience in a fast paced finance team.
