Senior Financial Accountant

A unique opportunity to work with this market leading retailer in a newly created role as a Senior Financial Accountant. A broad and varied role, which includes accurate preparation, and timely delivery of critical business information, internal and external (Shareholder / Bank reporting), Working Capital analysis, preparation of VAT returns, Tax calculations, plus treasury management in multi-currency set up.

This role reports directly into the Head of Finance and you will need to demonstrate commercial acumen, together with the ability to influence the business community, operators and senior management. You will be responsible for setting up and management of the company treasury function as well as the preparation of monthly financial reporting (Internal and external), covenant reporting, analysis and investigations on key working capital movements, including commentary on KPI's and variances to prior forecasts.

To be successful you will be a fully qualified financial accountant with proven experience gained ideally within the Big 4. You have exceptional attention to detail, numeracy and good PC skills. You will have excellent organisation, prioritisation and administration skills with a focus on attention to detail.
