An internal auditor is required by a wholly owned and stand alone trading business that is part of a global organisation. Following an internal promotion, an internal auditor is required to join an existing team tasked with carrying out audits to an existing framework. The successful individual will be a driven and inquisitive auditor who is passionate about internal audit and constantly be looking to drive change to the current processes and procedures.
The role is home based with UK and some European travel as part of the duties. You will conduct risk based audits on a range of their operating units as well as head office audits. From this, you will partner with the relevant functions to drive any necessary change or improvements and look to be a source of support as required.
The role is a great opportunity to broaden your skills and experience across all areas of the audit including both finance and non finance as well as a proven opportunity to progress your career where 80% of the audit function have progressed through the business, To be considered, you will have a recognised audit / accountancy qualification with demonstrable experience of working in either an internal or external audit function.
