Commercial Management Accountant

A high volume FMCG company is looking to hire a Commercial Management Accountant to advise managers about the financial implications of business decisions to aid growth and profit.

In more detail, your remit will be:

• Controlling and forecasting income and expenditure.
• Ensuring spend is kept in line with budget.
• Analysing financial performance and contributing to medium and long – term business planning/forecasts.
• Supporting line managers and the management team to help make financial decisions.
• Developing financial reporting systems.
• Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers.
• Answer finance related issues and provide high quality customer service across the company

 You will be either qualified or close to qualification of a recognised accountancy body and have solid experience of Budgets and Financial controls and be able to work diplomatically as a management accountant in an environment where margin control is key. You will also have demonstrable experience of instigating, managing and delivering projects both in finance and operations and communicate commercial financial data with reasoned opinion and guidance.
